Omaha is often stereotyped. And, we’ll admit, it’s easy to do. We definitely love our steaks, our Mavs, our corn; but we also love our communities, our small businesses and, most importantly, our city. We’re a delicate, loud and proud mix of people and cultures and we want the world to know it!

So join us in celebrating everything that makes Omaha, well, Omaha! Read through the reasons we’re lucky to live here and then tell us what you love about our beautiful city.


1. It’s actually one of the best places to live in the country

3. The music scene is jammin’ (and growin’)

The Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is one of the best zoos in the world — and we can prove it. It has its own railroad, a Skyfari, a carousel and a tram to explore 130 acres of exhibits and gardens, as well as seven acres of indoor exhibits!
