It’s no secret Roja Grill has one of the best margaritas in town. In fact, you all chose it as the favorite in this year’s Best of Omaha 2017. And in 2015, the Omaha World-Herald food prowl team named El Traditional the best in town. Don’t you think it’s about time you stopped by to try one? The top-shelf El Traditional is made with Don Julio, Cointreau and fresh lime juice — but there are 13 other options!
Maria’s serves some of the best tacos in town and their perfect, summery margarita pairs perfectly! The recipes for both are developed from family classics and decades of experience. If you’ve had your fair share of classic lime margaritas, branch out at Hook & Lime. They’re a go-to destination for innovative specialties — including Lemon & Lavender, Spiced Pineapple and 1800 Coconut & Ginger. If you haven’t tasted it, don’t skip their classic H & L margarita made with Exotico Blanco, citrus-infused blanco, fresh lime juice, housemade orange liqueur, Demerara syrup and orange brandy.
Don’t write off Don & Millie’s just because their margaritas are served out of a slush machine in a frosty beer mug. These cocktails come on the rocks or iced, and they’re only 99 cents! For less than a dollar, they’re well balanced and hit the spot every time.

This locally owned Old Market favorite is the place to go if you want to taste premium tequilas, as they have over 50! And Julio’s certainly knows how to celebrate Margarita Monday. All day, every Monday you can get their crafted creations for just $2. Order one with a mouth-watering Tex-Mex classic and you’ll definitely want to come back.
Hector’s is the only restaurant that specializes in Baja-style cooking in the region and they’ve been serving up their delicious meals in Omaha since 1997. Make sure you try the homemade tortilla chips. They’re the perfect accompaniment to an ice-cold margarita while you wait for a plate of their popular enchiladas or fajitas.

This bright, cantina-style restaurant specializes in tequilas and Mexican fare. So when it comes to tequila cocktails, they’re the experts. Happy hour lasts all day on Monday and you can get a classic, Cucumber or Jalapeño Margarita for just $5! The mix of house-infused cucumber tequila, fresh lime and lemon in the Cucumber Margarita make it the perfect summer cocktail.

Eat the Worm is a fairly new Old Market destination, but they’ve quickly established themselves as one of the regional experts on mezcals, tequila and mouth-watering cocktails. And they don’t confine Margarita Monday to just one day; their margaritas are $4 every day of the week! So whether you’re craving tacos, tostadas, taquitos or burritos, make sure you order a margarita while you wait.
Michael’s Cantina merges the charm and tradition of Old Market with authentic Mexican culture and cuisine. They’re famous for fajitas, a fun atmosphere and, you guessed it, margaritas! Stop by for happy hour Monday – Friday from 3 – 5 p.m. to taste a marg for $3.
At Fernando’s they make everything fresh — including the handmade tortillas and homemade hot sauces. The restaurant has repeatedly won the Best of Omaha categories for Best Burrito and Best Mexican Dining, so if you haven’t been, it’s about time you tried it! When you stop by for a meal, be sure to order one of their mouth-watering margaritas.

This West Omaha original knows Mexican food, drink and culture. Start with a Cancun Top Shelf Margarita and a plate of shareable Ceviche and you’ll instantly understand the hype! Whatever you do, don’t leave without a taste of the Fried Ice Cream. Incidentally, it pairs well with a second marg.
Not only is Cilantro’s one of the most delicious Mexican restaurants in Omaha, you can also get many of their authentic plates for under $10! For something new, try the Texas made with Brandy, Grand Marnier and 1800 Tequila.
