Where to Get Local Face Masks in the Omaha Area

September 11, 2020Add a CommentPosted By

At the beginning of the year, wearing a face mask every day seemed strange—with many of us making our own face coverings or purchasing a box of disposable masks to wear. But now that we’ve been living during the age of COVID-19 for the better part of six months, wearing a mask has just become a part of our daily routine.

Luckily, over the past several months, many local businesses and handy Omahans have been crafting functional and trendy face masks that you’ll actually like wearing! So if you’re tired of the mask you’ve been wearing since March or are finally ready to give up the disposable masks in exchange for a high-quality, washable one, look no further. These local businesses and Etsy makers have you covered — quite literally.

It’s All About Bees

It’s All About Bees has a rich history dating back to the 1930s when co-owner Margi Fletcher’s grandfather started keeping bees in Homer, Nebraska. In 2000, the Fletcher family started to make and sell products made from honey and beeswax, developing their own recipes using all-natural ingredients. Today, you can find them at their shop in Ralston, still making their food and body care products by hand, along with a wide variety of bee-themed merchandise—including brand new comfortable, hand-made face masks!

Mesh has two Omaha locations offering chic clothing choices for men and women. Owners Courtney Smith and Lauren Makovicka have over 29 years of combined experience in the fashion industry and pass that onto you in style and confidence! Right now they are doing a final push of their fashion face masks that come in black, red, and plaid patterns. Click here to add these stylish masks to your cart along with some of Mesh’s other trendy clothing and accessories!
