Spring is in full bloom in Omaha and we’re busy enjoying the luxuries of the season — basking in the sun out on the patio at a local restaurant, strolling through our favorite neighborhoods, revamping our home with bright seasonal colors and grabbing a tasty meal from an Omaha food truck.

Another one of our favorite spring features is the return of farmers’ markets scattered all over the region. There are so many in the area — and at least one of them is bound to fit your schedule perfectly!

Farmers’ markets are one of the most fun ways to support the local community — specifically farmers, artisans and small business owners. These markets are also wonderful resources for SNAP participants to get fresh and healthy produce using vouchers.
