Training and Education NP Dodge is devoted to getting our new agents off to the best possible start by investing company time and finances into our exclusive NP Dodge training programs. These programs go hand in hand in developing and maintaining your business and clientele.

In your first week as an Independent Contractor with NP Dodge, you and other new licensees will go through an extensive yet general four-hour orientation covering:
1. Policies and Procedures
2. NP Dodge family of companies, daily memo, opportunity time, personal communications, and more.
3. Advertising programs and marketing opportunities (like NP Dodge Home Show, Omaha World-Herald, Premier Properties, etc.)
4. Technology and internet capabilities (website, intranet, personal internet page, e-mail, real estate market reports, etc.)
5. Builder Program
6. Relocation Services
7. Other Agent Services & Support Programs
8. Forms

NP Dodge New Agent training is a series of classes which assist you in starting your business. The series is offered monthly. Sessions are skill specific, ranging from "Prospecting" and "Property Measuring" to "Computer Training." The class schedule allows maximum time for you to launch your real estate career. Completion of the agent training classes may be used as a substitute for Graduate REALTOR^® Institute (GRI) 101, a nationally recognized designation of REALTORS^® who have furthered their education in the industry.

Without experience, it's difficult to create a written business plan when beginning your career as a real estate professional. At NP Dodge, we provide your initial plan, written and ready to activate. Our Quick Start Program provides a week-by-week guide to get your business implemented and your income stream started as quickly as possible. The closer you follow the plan, the faster your productivity and income will increase!

In addition to your formal classroom education, NP Dodge also offers its own mentoring program. A Senior Associate Mentor may be arranged if you and your manager feel it would be beneficial. As part of this program, a Senior Associate will be available for advice regarding subjects such as how to conduct a market analysis, scheduling listing appointments and working with a buyer to just name a few.

Each state has different educational requirements for agents to maintain their real estate license. Nebraska requires 12 hours of continuing education every 24 months. Iowa now requires new agents to complete three 12-hour classes during their first three years. Unlike most other companies in this area, NP Dodge supports its agents by offering a variety of continuing education classes on a regular basis. Some classes are available for free or at a reduced price for NP Dodge agents.

NP Dodge strongly supports agents working toward professional advancement through ongoing training and certifications. Some examples of certifications are:
