• Both buyers and sellers felt a home warranty provided valuable protection against costly repairs/replacement of mechanical systems and built-in appliances.
• 91% of all homeowners surveyed would likely recommend the purchase of a home warranty to another home buyer.
• Nearly 8 out of 10 surveyed said they would likely purchase a home warranty for the buyer of their home when they plan to sell it.
• About 75% of those homeowners surveyed agreed that a home warranty would give them a greater level of confidence in a previously-owned home that they might purchase.

7 out of 10 real estate professionals surveyed agreed that a home warranty helps avoid "after-the-sale" problems.
