On March 16, 2020, Nebraska imposed a 10-person limit on public gatherings to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and on March 18, Omaha entered a state of emergency. This, of course, caused many of our beloved restaurants, coffee shops, bars, breweries, movie theaters and other small businesses to close up shop for the time being.
Luckily, many of these businesses are now offering takeout, curbside pickup and delivery so that you can continue to support them throughout this difficult time. You may also want to invest in a gift card from your favorite restaurant to go towards a future meal!
