As we approach a full month since our favorite local restaurants were fully open for dine-in services, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to come up with new crowd-pleasing recipes to satisfy the family. While restrictions are loosening in the Omaha area a bit, we may not be ready to go out yet.
Thankfully, many local restaurants have converted to takeout and delivery. And to help you out even more, there are several Omaha restaurants that are taking it a step further by offering convenient and affordable family meal deals to get you and yours excited about dinner. Whether you’re looking for a party platter to feed a crowd tonight or want a few meals to stick in the freezer for later, we’ve got a few fun meal deals listed right here. Bon appétit!

You can’t go wrong at Noli’s, a vibrant and hip pizza joint serving up New York pizza in the Blackstone District. Noli’s effortlessly merges tradition with artisan by showcasing specials and sourcing local and seasonal ingredients when possible.
While their crunchy, brick-oven pizza could tide your family over for days (if it lasts that long), Noli’s is also offering half-baked meals that you can make at home! The menu includes a wide range of delicious pizzas, pasta dishes, salads and more that you can either pick up or have delivered and throw together at home. Each meal can feed a handful of people and comes with a special instruction sheet on how to reheat or store for later. They also have several wine and beer selections that you can add to your feast! Just give them a call at (402) 359-1802 or head to GrubHub to order.
Nestled in the heart of Omaha’s Old Market, Le Bouillon offers soul-warming French food made using the best ingredients from local farmers and producers. This means that their menu changes often to fit the season but you’ll always be able to find French mainstays like escargot, chicken confit and fresh oysters on the half shell.
During the pandemic, Le Bouillon is now offering a special menu available for curbside pickup and delivery, which includes their new “Meal Plan” offering, featuring a weekly menu delivered as pre-portioned meals. Each week, tune into their Instagram to find out what the current lineup of fresh meals is (and to preplan your weekly menu!).
One of Omaha’s favorite catering companies, Doorstep Diner is a go-to destination for those looking to add a special touch to their corporate events, weddings, parties and more. They do all this with a small team while also using the freshest ingredients possible.
Right now, they are offering takeout family meals that feed a family of four for $25 or a family of two for just $13. You can also order individual pans of their popular dishes—including lasagna and mac n’ cheese—which can be frozen for later. Their family meal menu changes often, so be sure to regularly check their website to stay updated on their current offerings.
This farm-to-table eatery offers unique takes on classic comfort foods. They’ll take a traditional burger and throw on creative ingredients such as goat cheese and beets or maybe even Doritos to make it more delicious. And, because their family hails from Canada, they offer an array of Northern-inspired meals such as poutine, which is fries covered in cheese curds and gravy.
To help your family out during the pandemic, they are now offering family meals! Available for pre-order only, these large trays full of food can be picked up curbside Thursday-Saturday and are the perfect weekend feast—or a freezer meal for later. They are also selling “take & make” meals for two people, in which they give you a handful of prepared ingredients and instructions on how to put them all together. Past offerings have included lobster shrimp grilled cheese with roasted tomato soap and wagyu French dips with loaded potato soup. Be sure to keep up with them on Instagram to stay updated on their upcoming menus!

When you think farm-to-table, pizza might not be the first dish to come to mind, but Dante proves all stereotypes wrong with its seasonal recipes. In traditional Italian fashion, the menu is driven by the freshest local ingredients available, and the staff is dedicated to providing their guests with an authentic experience from wine to dessert.
Their “Take and Make” deal may just be one of our favorites—featuring an at-home pasta kit and a cocktail kit. Each pasta kit includes one pound of homemade pasta and a corresponding amount of sauce. Add their house ricotta, some greens and, of course, some gelato and you’ll have yourself a complete Italian feast! The best part? You don’t have to cook it right away. This is a great choice for those looking to stock up on local food options for the week.
Located in Gifford Park, this adorable cafe owned by four coffee-loving locals calls itself home to some of the tastiest (and prettiest!) lattes and pastries in town. Their bright and open cafe is packed full of comfy furniture, large windows, plants and other decor, and while we can’t enjoy it in person at the moment, there are still plenty of ways to bring the magic of Myrtle Cypress straight to your home!
If you want to plan out your morning coffee routine for the rest of the week, Myrtle Cypress’ bottle deal is just for you. At the moment, they are selling large bottles of their delicious cold brew along with bottles of their homemade almond milk for pickup on Tuesdays on Thursdays!
You scream, we scream, we’re all screaming for ice cream! Located in the heart of Omaha’s Blackstone District, Coneflower Creamery churns farm-to-cone ice cream in a variety of interesting flavors. The desserts are all made with seasonal ingredients from local farms, and everything down to the sprinkles is made fresh in the kitchen.
If you’re having a particular craving for an ice cream sundae, check out Coneflower Creamery’s limited time sundae kits! You can choose between a two-person kit or a four-person kit, which includes vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, salted caramel, almond toffee and sprinkles, for $15 and $28, respectively. This a recurring deal, available only while supplies last. Keep up with them on social media to find out when they will be available again!
One of Omaha’s favorite local Mexican restaurants with a handful of locations all over the city, La Mesa serves up authentic—and fresh—Mexican favorites. They are so good, in fact, that they’ve been voted the best Mexican restaurant in Omaha for 17 years in a row.
Right now, they are offering family meal packs so you can enjoy delicious La Mesa food from the safety of your own home! There are four different options for you to choose from: a taco pack, an enchiladas pack, a chimichangas pack and a fajita pack, all costing between $40 and $45, depending on which one you choose. Each comes with an appetizer, an entree, a couple of sides and, of course, chips and salsa. Order this meal deal online and stop by to pick it up for a delicious Mexican feast at home.
