We love a good food or drink “flight”: a menu option that gives you several small samples at a time, allowing you to try a variety of flavors all at once. You’ll usually find this type of menu offering at breweries or pubs, but lately, we’ve seen it popping up at other types of restaurants—and we couldn’t be more excited!
Coffee flights, ice cream flights, saki flights, margarita flights—you name it, these interesting menu items are taking Omaha by storm. We took the liberty of rounding a few of our favorites up below. But be forewarned—these specials are fleeting and may fly off the menu at any moment so be sure to take advantage of these deals while you can!

Margarita Flights
Did someone say margaritas? These tasty cocktails come in many different flavors and forms, from on the rocks to frozen and everything in between. If you’re not sure which one you want to try the next time you go out, consider ordering a flight at one of Omaha’s best tequila bars! MULA, a Mexican kitchen and tequileria, offers a marg flight for $16 that features three of their favorites: house, cucumber and jalapeño. They also have flights for salsa, guacamole, and other dips like queso on their appetizer menu.
Or, order a margarita flight at one of La Mesa Mexican Restaurant‘s several locations around Omaha. This special allows you to mix and match any three margaritas from their vast margarita menu.

Pancake Flight at Early Bird
Early Bird Brunch is one of our favorite places to go for brunch in Omaha. Maybe it’s the fantastic coffee? Or the giant, sharable donuts and spectacular cocktails? Either way, if you can, you should order their incredible pancake flight, featuring three pancakes of your choice: plain, blueberry, chocolate chip, Cereal Killer, cinnamon roll, or PB&J. If you really want to go flight-crazy, they also offer a bacon flight at both their Omaha locations.
Ice Cream Flights at Graley’s Creamery & Confections
While Graley’s Creamery & Confections is a Victorian ice cream parlor and soda fountain that looks like it has been serving Omaha since the 1800s, it has only recently become an Omaha staple after opening their doors in 2017. Here, you can try homemade ice cream, pies and other delicious confections in a variety of flavors. Try a handful of their flavors all at once with an ice cream flight featuring seven scoops for just $7.
Gelato Flights at Dante
While Dante is known for their fantastic pizza, we’ve been known to stop by for their gelato alone. The delicious, house-made creations come in flavors like Vanilla Stracciatella, pistachio, mint and butterscotch. If you can’t choose just one, check out their new gelato flights, which features three scoops of your choice for $9.50. Pair it with one of their dessert cocktails or a mug of Hardy Coffee Co. coffee for the perfect dessert!
A brownie flight isn’t something we knew we needed… until now. Head to Brownie Bar near the Durham Museum and build your own deliciously sweet creation! Built like a make-your-own sundae bar, Brownie Bar allows you to craft your own brownie dish, featuring several different brownie and topping options. Their brownie flight features all three of their brownie flavors and eight toppings (all on the side) for $15.
Dessert Flights at The Bubbly Tart
Located on Leavenworth, The Bubbly Tart has been whipping up sweet creations for Omahans since 2019.
