The Small Communities Within the City

You’ll find a variety of smaller communities and neighborhoods within Omaha, which give this large city a small-town feel. Plus, some of the city’s best restaurants and shops are tucked away in these enclaves!

“One of my favorite things about Omaha are the small communities within the city: Dundee, Blackstone, Old Market, Benson, and Little Bohemia. These areas host some of the city’s best restaurants and small boutique shopping. Whenever I head to one of those areas I know I will have a great meal and find unique wares.” — Molly Hunt-Spisak

After dark, Omaha has a thriving nightlife scene, with many cocktail bars, breweries and entertainment destinations bustling with visitors and residents alike.

“I love the fun nightlife that Omaha brings! My favorite spot is Beercade, an arcade bar full of various pinball machines, classic arcade games and skeeball. What more could you ask for? There are two locations, one in Benson and another Downtown, that make a night out that much better.” — Jacqueline Szatko
