For more than 30 years, Bellevue Berry Farm & Pumpkin Patch has been owned and operated by the Schaefer family, who have deep roots in Nebraska’s frontier history dating back to the early 1800s. Today, the farm grows strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, sugar snap peas and asparagus, which visitors can pick themselves. Plus, during the fall, they grow you-pick pumpkins and other fall crops on more than 20 acres. But Bellevue Berry Farm is more than just a you-pick farm! They provide a unique country experience where guests can see a variety of farm antiques, livestock and crops, as well as unique play areas patterned after what life was like for kids 40–100 years ago. They also offer hayrides through 20 acres of woods along the Old Papio Creek bed. Plus, there are unique treehouses and a replica small western frontier town and playgrounds, including a three-story, 120-foot-long pirate ship.

In 2022, strawberry season will begin around June 1, and red raspberries and blackberries will be ready in the middle of July. Return in the fall for pumpkin season kicking off September 18 through Halloween!
