It\u2019s a 30-minute walk from Blatt to Bob, but we think this is the perfect amount of time to confess your love to your date, dream of your future together, name your hypothetical kids and enjoy Omaha streets in the meantime. And for the sake of convenience, we\u2019ve even mapped the route out for you<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If 30 minutes is just too long of a commute for you, eat at a restaurant in Old Market<\/a> instead, which will knock a whopping two minutes off that daunting walking time.<\/p>\n

Whatever you choose, just make Bob the Bridge your destination and the evening will turn out fine. Bob is the first to admit that he is really just 3,000 feet of cheap date.<\/p>\n

One of the hidden gems in Omaha\u2019s date night scene is the opportunity to see the city by boat at Heartland of America Park<\/a>. Heartland Gondolas<\/a> offer rides for 2-6 people in authentic Venetian gondolas through the park\u2019s 15-acre lake. You can snuggle up for a romantic private ride or join a group for a fun adventure. To make a private reservation, simply contact Heartland Gondolas<\/a> via email, phone or Facebook.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also good news that their rates<\/a> are reasonable! It costs $10 per couple for a 15-20 minute ride to the south part of the Conagra Lagoon and children under 12 years old are free if accompanied by a paid adult. For a private cruise, it costs $20 per couple or $35 for an extended 30-minute cruise through the lake.<\/p>\n

We do have some bad news though! Heartland Gondolas only operates between the months of May and September<\/a>. But that just means you can make plans well in advance to visit them next spring and summer!<\/p>\n
