There are so many events in Omaha to celebrate the coming of spring, from easter egg hunts and parades to concerts and basketball tournaments. <\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve gathered up some of the local events we are most looking forward to, so mark your calendar! You won\u2019t want to miss out on the fun. <\/span><\/p>\n

Arts + Culture <\/b><\/h2>\n

First Friday Old Market <\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

When: Friday, March 2, 6-9 pm

Spend your Friday night celebrating local creativity in Omaha\u2019s most exciting (and most historic) neighborhood! Galleries and cafes in the area will keep their doors open late, inviting those passing by to come view new collections and have conversations with the artists. Participating galleries include the <\/span>Artists\u2019 Cooperative Gallery<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Ted & Wally\u2019s<\/span><\/a>, the <\/span>Passageway Gallery<\/span><\/a> and more. <\/span><\/p>\n

Established in 2005, the Omaha Film Festival is an annual event celebrating the artistic, educational and historic importance of motion pictures. The festival gives independent film artists the opportunity to share their work in front of a local audience and spark a dialogue in the community. You\u2019ll be able to witness films from local and national artists alike, and attend several film festival parties throughout the week! <\/span><\/p>\n

Miranda Lambert – Livin\u2019 Like Hippies Tour<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

Junktoberfest | Spring Edition <\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

When: Friday, March 23, 5-9 pm; Saturday, March 24, 9 am-5 pm; Sunday, March 25 10 am-4 pm
