To help you prepare your home for this coming season, we\u2019ve created a checklist so you can stay on track. So put away your winter coats and grab your toolbelt because we\u2019ve got some work to do!<\/p>\n

Nothing can add a fresh splash of color as effectively as the front door! A brightly colored door immediately gives any home an extra dose of personality. Go with a bright color like red<\/a>, which is a popular door color that evokes a sense of welcome or a cool pale blue for a muted pop of color.<\/p>\n

Small yet bright accessories go a long way in your home\u2019s decor, as they add pops of color and excitement to any space. Your patio\/deck will be a hotspot in your home during the warmer months, which is why you should make sure it\u2019s in tip-top shape before the season gets going. Check your deck for signs of water stains, discoloration and warping. Most of these issues can be fixed with a can of wood stain or a strategic nail hammered here and there, but don\u2019t be afraid to contact a deck expert if you run into any issues!<\/p>\n
