By definition motivation means the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way or the general desire or willingness of someone to do something.\u00a0 Are we \u201cmotivated\u201d to get up early and work out? Are we \u201cmotivated\u201d to lose that extra 15 pounds? Are we \u201cmotivated\u201d to finally make the move we\u2019ve been considering? The list is endless.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, sales associates and employees were motivated at our General Sales Meeting by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aarondavisspeaks.com\/\">Aaron Davis<\/a>. Davis is a motivational speaker and former Nebraska Cornhusker. He has written three books and is an owner and partner of two successful businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was filled with great inspiration and motivation on the real estate market and how REALTORS<strong>\u00ae<\/strong> can keep their focus during today\u2019s market challenges. \u201cDon\u2019t forget the \u201cwhy\u201d you do what you do\u201d Davis reminded everyone in the room. The \u201cwhys\u201d Davis was listing were \u201cyour spouse, your children, and your parents\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead of a New Year\u2019s Resolution, have a New Year\u2019s Commitment\u201d Davis said. \u00a0\u201cToday\u2019s sales environment is more competitive than ever before and it\u2019s those who are able to focus when others fold, who consistently stay at the top\u201d Davis said.<\/p>\n<p>He reminded NP Dodge sales associates to finish the rest of the year strong, shake off what couldn\u2019t be changed from yesterday and keep moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>At the conclusion of the meeting, there were drawings for various gifts.
