Small Business Saturday<\/a> is a holiday we look forward to celebrating each year since it began in 2010. There is a nationwide focus on large chain stores this time of year, and we appreciate that there is a day dedicated to promoting and highlighting the small business community. And we have quite the small business community to celebrate in Omaha!
\nThat is why we decided to list and map out the local businesses participating in Small Business Saturday on November 28, 2015. So whether or not you go all out with your Black Friday shopping (or you choose to #OptOutside<\/a> instead), make sure you save some energy for the following day to show some love to these hardworking businesses. The stores included below will hold deals on that day, in all shapes and sizes. Some will even offer refreshments or other fun activities!
