Additional features of this new map-based search include automatic updating of mapped properties when selecting new search criteria and being able to navigate easily around a selected geographic region without having to repeatedly zoom in and out. Faulkner notes, “Like other interactive programs, the mapping solution will work best with a high speed internet connection.”

Shortly after the Dodge family made its first land purchase in 1855, brothers Nathan and Grenville opened The Dodge Land Office in Council Bluffs. Grenville went on to serve as a general during the Civil War and then as chief construction engineer for the building of Union Pacific Railroad. N.P. stayed in the land business and built the foundation for one of America's oldest real estate companies, NP Dodge Company.
Dan Van Houten, manager of the Council Bluffs sales office, who made the presentation said, "The NP Dodge Company, as well as the Dodge family, have had deep roots in this community for over 150 years. We are proud to donate this portrait as part of our past, present and future commitment to the Dodge House and surrounding communities."
Five generations have guided the NP Dodge Company to what it is today. Omaha, NE - One lucky Omaha Royals fan may go home with more than a good time after the Royals’ last home game of the season on Thursday.
NP Dodge Company will give away $150,000 cash — to be used toward a new house or other expenses — if the final contestant of 36 finalists can hit a home run from home plate. The NP Dodge Home Run Derby is part of the company’s 150th Anniversary Celebration.
Thirty-five finalists were selected randomly throughout the season and each had a chance to hit a home run, batting from behind second base. Seven of the finalists have hit a home run, winning a trip to Kansas City. One last person will be randomly chosen during Thursday night’s game to join the others. Fans can register to be the 36th finalist before the game at Rosenblatt Customer Service. Gates open at 6 p.m.
At the end of Thursday’s 7:05 game, the finalists will be entered in a drawing, and one will be chosen to try and hit a home run from home plate. If successful in hitting the ball over the fence, he or she will win the grand prize from NP Dodge.
Nate Dodge, president of NP Dodge Property Management, said the company has been celebrating its 150th anniversary all year by giving back to the community. “This is a fun and lighthearted way to thank area residents for all of their support through the years,” he said. “It’s going to be exciting to see if our final contestant can win the prize. We sincerely hope the contestant does; that would make our anniversary celebration truly memorable.”
Don Evans previously served as the Sarpy County and Pacific Hills Office Manager where he mentored his successor in both locations. He was also instrumental in the new Licensee Recruiting Program. In his new role he will continue to develop new business opportunities and real estate partnerships.
