DodgeCares Donates Over $79,000 To Local Charities

Omaha, Nebraska - March 5, 2020 - A total of $79,400.00 was presented to 15 local, nonprofit organizations located throughout eastern Nebraska and western Iowa from DodgeCares, Inc. The check presentation was held at the NP Dodge 148Dodge Sales Office in Omaha. Joining the DodgeCares Board of Directors were NP Dodge leadership, residential sales associates and employees who contributed throughout 2019 to the charitable organization.

DodgeCares, Inc.’s newest nonprofit charitable organization, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, received the highest dollar amount of donations and matches at $10,640.00. Sleep in Heavenly Peace Representative Kristen Fulton said "We started our Omaha chapter in October 2018 and since then this will be our 500th bed we are delivering this weekend. We have big plans for this next year and will be building at least 500 more beds. We now know there will be a lot more beds with these funds... You have been amazing partners and we thank you so much."

DodgeCares, Inc. contributions are for the following nonprofit charitable organizations: Open Door Mission; Siena/Francis House Homeless Shelter; Sleep in Heavenly Peace; Stephen Center; Habitat for Humanity of Omaha; Fremont Area Habitat for Humanity; Habitat for Humanity of Sarpy County; Together Inc.; Wounded Warriors Family Support; YES-Youth Emergency Services; Project Houseworks; Heart Ministry Center; Council Bluffs Housing Trust Fund; Joseph's Coat/Washington County Food Pantry; Lydia House.

A 501(c)(3) exempt charitable organization founded in 2002 by agents of the NP Dodge Company, DodgeCares, Inc. collects and distributes tax-deductible contributions from NP Dodge sales associates, employees and the general public. The NP Dodge Company matches up to a designated dollar per each agent and employee contributed. The company’s continuous support of the community stems from the belief in people and nonprofit agencies that work to make Omaha and it’s surrounding areas an even better place to live, work and raise a family.
