La Vista

La Vista, NE is a suburb of Omaha that was incorporated in 1960—the most recent city in the state of Nebraska to do so. With a current population of over 16,000 (2022) it has shown tremendous growth in home construction, educational and recreational facilities and commerce and industry, much of it within the last fifteen years.

In La Vista’s early years, it was the site of smaller homes and several strip centers, a popular location for families purchasing their first homes. In the same general area, there is a Cabela’s Sporting Goods store, a large Oriental Trading Company Warehouse, a PayPal Payment Processing Center, and numerous restaurants and retail and service centers.

With its proximity to the Omaha metro area and Offutt, its solid economic base, good schools, and its homes of many styles and price points, the future looks bright for La Vista.
