At the site where Highway 50 crosses the Platte River in Cass County is the town of Louisville, NE. With a thirty-minute drive to Omaha and a thirty-minute drive to Lincoln, it attracts visitors as well as commuters who enjoy living in a smaller town with many eclectic characteristics.
