Situated between Interstate 80 and Old Town Millard is a neighborhood known as the Oak Hills Area. Much of the community is home to Oak Hills Country Club with its lovely setting on a challenging 18 hole golf course.   Near-by are beautiful single family homes and town homes which meld into the mature park-like setting of the course.  Most range in price from the mid $200,000’s to the upper $300,000’s and, while most were built in the 1970’s and 1980’s they show pride of ownership with modern updates both inside and out.

Smaller, more modest, but well maintained single family homes and condominiums are also located on sites in the community.  They are usually priced in the mid to high $100,000’s and are built on smaller lots with one car garages.   Neighborhood members unite in many activities—kids’ sports leagues, several very active churches,  and programs in the Millard elementary school which serves the entire Oak Hills area.

Individuals from all over the southwest Omaha area are members of the Oak Hills Country Club.  It is a private entity and provides many amenities to its membership.  The club offers golf lessons and league play for both men and women and has a program for junior golfers.  Tennis courts and lessons are popular attractions, as is the Olympic-sized swimming pool.  Fine and casual dining are available, as are banquet rooms for large parties.  Many members comment on how pleased they are that this is a facility with programs that welcome and serve the entire family.

With easy access to the Interstate, employment, shopping, moderately priced homes, great schools, and recreation this is a wonderful home-site for many families and individuals.
