A house that welcomes you in the minute you enter and makes you feel like you never want to leave! I suggest scheduling a visit to see for yourself! The home has a traditional facade with an inviting front porch, perhaps a good place for some rocking chairs! As you enter the foyer there is a room currently used for an office but can be a formal dining room. The living room is warm, inviting, and cozy; please pay attention to the unique fireplace tiles. The kitchen is often referred to as the heart of the home and this is no exception, with a huge eat in area and built in cabinets creating a side buffet. SS appliances and granite countertops, there is a huge hidden pantry! The upstairs has a large owners suite including a large walk in closet, private full bath, and generous bedroom. You will love the 2nd floor laundry! There is 3 additional bedrooms and a jack/Jill bath. The basement is a clean slate and ready for you to finish as you desire. The garage is a true 3 car garage! Area Information
BlairBlair was established in 1869, a community located approximately 25 miles north of Omaha on the Missouri River. The undeveloped land was selected by the Sioux City and Pacific Rail Road as the site for tracks to cross the Missouri River. It was platted by the railroad to provide sites for industrial and retail development as well as homes and support services for railroad employees. The town literally grew overnight with new construction and older buildings carried overland from surrounding communities. Before year end there were churches, a bank, a newspaper, a hotel, as well as dry good and hardware stores. The population had grown to such an extent that it challenged Fort Calhoun, a neighboring community to relinquish its position as county seat. Blair won and has held this title ever since. Today with a zip code population of almost 12,500 people, Blair has an active main street and is known for its community spirit and friendly small town atmosphere. It is the site of several agricultural and service industries and is home for many Omaha commuters. With excellent schools and houses of all ages and price ranges, it is a popular residential option for many families.
