Old Market

One of Omaha’s popular recreational and residential areas is known as the Old Market.  Located on the eastern edge of downtown, the area gets it name from its original development as a wholesale and retail grocery center.  Today, many of these buildings remain and their first floors are the sites of art galleries, restaurants, boutiques and specialty stores, while many of the upper floors have been renovated into upscale apartments and condominiums.
