It’s no secret that Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is a wonderful and exciting destination for the family during a lazy weekend afternoon. Kids of all ages are equally enthralled by the myriad of species accessible to their curious eyes at the zoo. This expression of shameless joy is rewarding for parents to see, and they most likely participate in the resounding “oohs” and “awws” themselves.
But at night, parents can unwind and relax with a unique form of entertainment also available at the zoo. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is hosting their third annual Comedy Night at the Zoo on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. inside the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium.
This evening is designed for adults 21 and over; so after a day spent perusing the colorful exhibits with your kids, pass them off to a babysitter and enjoy a hilarious night you won’t forget. Tickets cost $50 and admission includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, two free drink tickets to their cash bar, special animal encounters and performances by comedians Tim Schifsky and John Bush.
We can’t think of a more relaxing combination than sipping on a delectable drink while surrounded by the overwhelming beauty of marine life in an aquarium at night. Experience this euphoria, complete with two hilarious comedic routines, at Comedy Night at the Zoo.
Register for this event before the aquarium reaches capacity! In the meantime, check out a sneak peek from the comedians you’ll have the opportunity to laugh at.
In just a few short years Tim Schifsky has shot to the top of the list as a highly sought-after comedian. He’s been prominently engaging audiences with his quick wit and animated storytelling for people of all ages. He talks about growing up in a pre-smartphone world, marriage, and everyday stories to make you flush with laughter. Tim can bring his clean show to clubs, corporates, or family friendly events.
