Arbor Day Farm

In addition to 260 acres of natural beauty and outdoor exploration, this farm in Nebraska City boasts forested trails, a 50-foot-tall treehouse, and an Apple House Market. Don’t miss the apple pies, popcorn and apple cider — all made on site.

Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch

This is like the cruise ship of fall festivities because there is something for everyone to do at Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch. Walk through more than 20 acres of pumpkins, get lost in the corn maze, bounce around on a hayride, or get spooked at the Ranch of Terror Haunted House!
The pumpkin season at Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch is from September 18th–October 31. And the Ranch of Terror opened on September 17!
Bloom Where You’re Planted Farm
This beautiful farm emphasizes the agricultural side of autumn, with lots of wide-open spaces and fresh seasonal vegetation. But there is still plenty to do! Enjoy you-pick pumpkins, hayrides, a corn box, nature trails, a hay climb, farm animals, rubber duck races and more.

Camp Fontanelle Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Support the spirit of summer camp by visiting Camp Fontanelle Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze. Just like at summer camp, you can expect to sit around a cozy campfire and glide on a zip-line (for an extra charge) — but since it’s fall, the staff has added farm animals, pumpkins, hayrides and a corn maze to the mix.

Ditmars Orchard and Vineyard

There is nothing quite like biting into a fresh, juicy apple in the fall. Get the best of the best at Ditmars in Council Bluffs! With nearly 20 apple varieties available, you’re sure to find your favorite fresh off the tree.

Harvest Moon Farm

The expansive pumpkin patch is Harvest Moon Farm’s pride and joy, but it also provides non-stop fun for kids, from a giant corn pit to a 3-acre corn maze. Make sure you stop by the Rusty Bucket for some treats to top off the day!

Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard
Stop by for a sample of true country living at Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard, where you can enjoy haystack rides, pick your own apples and pumpkins, and even enjoy live music on the weekends. They also provide wine tastings and plenty of goodies for sale in the historic Apple Barn!

Martin’s Hillside Orchard

Martin’s Hillside Orchard is a wonderful destination for kids. The whole family will enjoy educational tours, a corn maze, a corn box, and of course, plenty of pumpkins. Martin’s claims to be the place “where fall begins,” and we’d have to agree.
Martin’s opened for the season on September 3, 2022! You-pick apples are not available this year, but you can purchase pre-picked fruit in the apple barn.
Pioneer Trail Orchard and Pumpkin Patch
21534 Chestnut Road, Council Bluffs
You guessed it! In addition to bountiful, pick-your-own apples, Pioneer Trail Ranch also has pumpkins and lots of them! The farm also boasts a haunted house and hayrides for the little ones.
Pioneer Trail is open for the 2022 season!
Roca Berry Farm

Roca Berry Farm’s 180-acre farm is home to the oldest and largest pumpkin patch in Lancaster County, boasting more than 100,000 pumpkins. Explore haunted woods, pick your own pumpkins, go on a hayride, and get spooked at the haunted farm!

Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze
With several unique fall attractions, including a giant bounce pillow and a pool of corn, Skinny Bones offers a wide variety of fall festivities. The 10-acre corn maze is its most famous attraction and includes a unique punch card scavenger hunt system.
Skinny Bone’s 2022 season will run from September 9–October 31!
Trees, Shrubs & More

Pick farm-fresh apples from more than 3,000 dwarf apple trees in the beautiful orchard at Trees, Shrubs & More. These apples are full-sized, full of flavor and will make your mouth water at harvest.

Union Orchard
To restock your supply of autumn country staples, visit Union Orchard. The farm holds all the apples and pumpkins your heart might desire. Plus, the Country Store includes farm-fresh fruit and vegetables, home-baked pies, cider donuts, apple butter, pumpkin butter, and several varieties of jams and preserves.

Vala’s Pumpkin Patch

Embark on an agritourism adventure at 3 Bee Farms, which specializes in apples, bees, produce and pumpkins. Pick your own apples from 13 different varieties, select all sorts of produce from A(sparagus) to Z(ucchini), go on a hayride or wander through the corn maze!
