Chocolaterie Stam in Papillion is a local favorite during hot chocolate season. While their gourmet chocolate treats pair well with just about anything, their creamy hot chocolate is a must during the winter months. You’ll be coming back again and again!
You may not think to go to The Grey Plume for hot chocolate, but after you taste their homemade version for the first time, you will! Get the classic with marshmallows or try the swiss alps style with green chartreuse!
As one of the coziest places during winter, this non-profit game library and cafe serves pizza, beer on tap, coffee and more. Buy a membership or spend $5 on a one-day pass. You’ll be able to sip your cocoa while playing your favorite game!
Another of our Omaha favorites, Archetype Coffee is a local roaster with delicious, artisanal coffees and simple brewing methods. Order a hot cocoa to stay warm and get the perfect blend of cozy and chocolate.

New to the Omaha food scene, Coneflower makes all their products with Nebraska ingredients. The ice cream, waffle cones and even the sprinkles are made in-house. During winter, try their homemade hot chocolate and add a scoop of ice cream to make it a float!
When you stop by Accelerando for the best grilled cheese in Omaha and in the state, grab a cup of hot cocoa. It’s the perfect post-grilled cheese dessert to keep you warm this winter!
