29 of the Best Restaurants on LoCo Omaha Right Now

April 23, 2021Add a CommentPosted By

One of our favorite things about living in the 21st century is simple food delivery. While the process has been around for decades at this point, it has never been so easy. All you have to do is download an app, pick a restaurant, place your order and wait for local delivery drivers to drop it at your door—no contact necessary

But what if we told you that popular delivery apps like Postmates, DoorDashGrubhub or UberEats charge restaurants a monthly flat fee that ranges from $88 to $490 just to be listed on the app? Then they will often take up to 40% of the cost of an order for themselves. That means that restaurants usually make very little money and, even sometimes lose money, just to offer delivery through these third-party apps. This is especially difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic, where many restaurants have had to start offering delivery just to survive.

If you are just as horrified by all this as we were when we found out, don’t worry, Omaha has a fantastic solutionLoCo Omaha is a new local delivery service, made by and for Omaha restaurants. They don’t charge high commissions on each purchase; instead, they support local businesses and keep your dollars in the community.

Because we are so excited about LoCo Omaha’s launch and all the local restaurants that have signed up, we made a list of some of the best spots you can order from through this new service. So read through our list, find a restaurant you’re interested in ordering from, and then visit LoCo Omaha’s website to place your order. Your food will be there before you know it. Enjoy!
