What to Do and Where to Stay on Your Omaha Staycation

Plans tend to book up quickly during the summer months, which means that the season can fly by in the blink of an eye. Even if you can’t fit in a summer getaway before fall comes, book yourself a summer staycation — a carefree weekend (or week) to ignore your typical routine and enjoy all that this town has to offer.

There is so much to see, do and eat around town, it’s easy to fill up a staycation itinerary. But of course, that’s only half of it. To get the full staycation experience, book a reservation at one of Omaha’s luxurious hotels or bed & breakfasts! We rounded up some of the best options to help you in your planning, including the best things to do and the best places to stay — all you have to do is block out some time on the calendar to relax!

Travel through time as you meander through the museum’s exhibits, take a moment to reflect in the sculpture gardens, or simply marvel at the building itself — a beautiful peice of architecture! The public can enjoy free admission on any day of the week, which is almost unheard of when it comes to upscale art facilities.
