Couple Shuffle

Invite your partner, your bestie, or race solo at February’s Couple Shuffle in Seymour Smith Park. This annual 2-mile, 5k, and 10k is a fun way to ring in the Valentine’s Day season with a heart-pounding course. The route is sprinkled with exciting photo ops and the finish line is enticing with sweet treats and high fives all around. Lace-up your running shoes and make this a Valentine’s Day to remember! This is fun for the whole family and the festivities include great swag, chip-timing, and fun for both participants and supporters. Youth-based pricing for the 5K/10K for kids 12 and under is set at just $15! There will even be a virtual race option for those who can’t make it out to the park, allowing them to run anywhere, any time, while still earning the fun race swag!

Omaha Lawn Flower & Patio Show

When? Through February 2nd

The Omaha Lawn Flower & Patio Show kicks off on January 31st and runs through February 2nd, giving you plenty of time to check out the stunning blooming flowers and landscaped garden displays and partake in the entertainment and delicious food from the Waterfall Cafe & Food Court. This is Omaha’s best showcase of the latest and greatest products and services for the home and all things garden and outdoor living. Show hours run from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday and 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Ticket prices are set at $10 for adults, $4.50 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for younger kiddos. Re-entry to the show is permitted on the same day that the ticket was purchased.

First Thursday Downtown Art Walk 2025

Join your neighbors for First Thursday in Downtown Omaha to explore the vibrant art scene that helps to define the city. Attendees can peruse a curated selection of galleries, each one offering its own unique glimpse into the imagination of both local and regional artists. From contemporary masterpieces to avant-garde installations — there’s something to inspire every art lover’s soul. Engage with passionate artists and fellow art enthusiasts on First Thursdays. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or simply a casual aficionado, everyone is invited to indulge in this unforgettable evening as Downtown Omaha transforms into a living gallery of creativity and art culture. Participating galleries in and around downtown include the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Gallery 1516, Garden of the Zodiac, KANEKO, The Joslyn, and many more.

Benson First Friday

Every first Friday of the month, enjoy walkable events and exhibitions located throughout the Benson neighborhood’s galleries and businesses. Download the latest First Friday event map directly to your phone for convenient digital access or print it off at home! February’s First Friday will be from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with a variety of live performances, local vendors, and more across Maple Street and beyond. Check out the Bart Vargas exhibit at the BFF Gallery from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM! Vargas is bringing an exhibition for the first time ever that’s exclusively composed of collage works.

Mid-Winter Float Fest

Where? 3922 Farnam Street
When? February 19th

Join Scriptown Brewing Company for their Mid-Winter Float Fest on Wednesday, February 19th! From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, enjoy curated ice cream from Coneflower Creamery and beer pairings for the best float experience in town. The menu is TBD, so stay updated on the Facebook event page to get the details when they’re released. This is an all-ages event and there will be traditional root beer floats available for minors and anyone enjoying an NA lifestyle! This is a free event and no registration is required.

2025 Omaha International Boat, Sports & Travel Show

Where? 455 North 10th Street
When? February 20th-23rd

The Omaha International Boat Sports & Travel Show is hailed as the granddaddy of them all. The huge show is packed with sights, sounds, and activities for the whole family. Whether you love to fish, hunt, boat, camp, or travel — you’ll find anything and everything to do with the great outdoors and everything you need to explore it. Take a walk around, peruse the variety of toys, and discuss details with the experts onsite to help you make an informed decision. The show is scheduled from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on opening day (Thursday). At the 2025 show, attendees can look forward to parakeet landings, the Nebraska Game & Parks archery range, and a cold stream trout tank. There will also be a walk-thru animal exhibit, featuring a variety of animals from around the world such as kangaroos, lemurs, exotic birds, and more.

18th Annual Ultimate Beerfest

Where? 6271 South 118th Street
When? February 22nd

Crescent Moon’s 18th Annual Ultimate Beerfest is coming up at the end of October. Join the festivities from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Infusion Brewing Company. The fest will feature a handcrafted list of breweries and beers, with each brewery having a rep present to discuss any questions you may have! Breweries will be focusing on pouring rare, unusual, and/or high-ABV beers while also showcasing something from their standard lineup. Ticket sales are limited, so grab yours while they’re available! Attendance at this fest is priced at $67 plus taxes/fees and if there are any tickets left on the day of the event, prices will increase to $72/person. The all-inclusive tickets include 4-hours of unlimited beer tasting, a souvenir-tasting glass, an appetizer buffet from the Crescent Moon Ale House, prize drawings, and more! Participating breweries include Jukes Ale Works, Monolithic Brewing Co., Benson Brewery, Loop Brewing Co., and many more!

Omaha Home & Garden Expo

Spring is coming to the CHI Health Center in late February! Exhibit hours kick off on Friday, February 28th from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and continue throughout the weekend. Adult admission is priced at $9 and children ages 5 to 12 can get in for $4.50. Kids younger than 5 are free! Tickets will be sold at the box office in the show lobby during show hours. The event has gone cashless and there will be an ATM available for creating cash cards. $1 off discounts and $2 off seniors ages 65+ will be available at all Fareway Grocery Stores and Village Inn Restaurants. There is re-entry permitted to this show, as long as it’s on the same day that the ticket was purchased. Many exhibitors will be selling products or contracting services onsite at the show, often at a discount!

Omaha Fashion Week Spring 2025

Where? 1502 Cuming Street
When? February 26th-March 1st

Omaha Fashion Week kicks off with the Student Night Designer Showcase on Wednesday, February 26th, featuring students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s TMFD Program. This season, there will be a feature on the work of UNL design students alongside high school students from design programs across the state — all in one night! On the 27th, check out the Paradox Designer Showcase, which brings the audience into the immersive world of the Spring OUTRÉ 2025 Season. The showcase will highlight “fashion for good” in the community, with the season’s designers promoting storytelling, and finding inspiration from music, pop culture, and vulnerable experiences. On Friday the 28th, the BIZARRE Designer Showcase will feature emerging designers in the first half, including those brand new to the OFW runway, student designers, and veteran designers trying out a completely new method of creation.

Forever Young Film Series: Curious George

When? February 1st & 2nd

Check out the Curious George screenings at the Dundee Theatre this February! Directed by Matthew O’Callaghan, this family-favorite movie has a runtime of 87 minutes and is rated G. The film is based on the beloved book series, featuring the voices of Frank Welker, Will Ferrell, Drew Barrymore, David Cross, Eugene Levy, and even Dick Van Dyke! Showtimes are scheduled for 10:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday. As part of the See Change initiative, organizers strive to showcase the work of women and non-binary individuals and their behind-the-scenes involvement in production. The film was edited by Julie Rogers and produced by Mary Alice Drumm and Bonne Radford.

Creighton Bluejays Men’s Basketball

When? February 8th, 11th, 23rd & 26th

The Creighton Bluejays men’s basketball team is taking on four teams at home this February! Kicking things off is the matchup against Marquette on the 8th at 1:00 PM. On the 11th, the team is matched up against Connecticut for Fan Appreciation and Power Stripe Out night at 8:00 PM and the 23rd’s game is against Georgetown for Alumni Day at 3:00 PM. The final home game for the month is on the 26th against DePaul for ABIDE Blue Out at 8:00 PM. All home games are hosted at the CHI Health Center. Surface parking at the center is priced at $10 and garage parking, when available, is set at $15.

Tours Coming to Omaha This February

Whether you want to enjoy a romantic concert with your special someone or you want to sing along to tunes from Flatland Cavalry, Omaha is hosting various tours this February that you won’t want to miss! You can even laugh your evening away with Joe Gatto on his Let’s Get Into It tour that’s making its way to Omaha on the last day of the month.

Andrea Bocelli in Concert for Valentine’s

Where? 455 North 10th Street
When? February 6th

Catch iconic Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in concert for Valentine’s at the CHI Health Center. Presented by Stifel, this is a great way to ring in the holiday with that special someone. Bocelli will be performing with the Omaha Symphony, conducted by Steven Mercurio. The concert begins at 8:00 PM. Only clear, uncolored plastic bags will be permitted into the venue or guests can opt to carry one opaque clutch-sized purse or wallet. Tickets are on sale starting at $61 in the 200s section and rise to $291 for seats in the 100s and Sections A and C.

Flatland Cavalry

Where? 1100 Dodge Street
When? February 15th

Flatland Cavalry is playing at Steelhouse Omaha this February at 8:00 PM on the 15th, with doors at 7:00 PM. The Texas sextet has humble beginnings out in the panhandle of the Lone Star State, where the group was formed in 2014 while attending Texas Tech University. Flatland Cavalry recently released their third full-length album, characterized by their sonically sprawling and wistfully written sound. Upgrade your night and enjoy happy hour pricing on food and drinks in the Steelhouse Club Lounge by adding the Fast Lane + Happy Hour Package at checkout. This permits entry 90 minutes before doors open and is limited to 75 people.

Joe Gatto: Let’s Get Into It

Where? 409 South 16th Street
When? February 28th

Joe Gatto is bringing his Let’s Get Into It tour to Omaha’s Orpheum Theater. The comedian is best known for the hit TV shows “Impractical Jokers” and “The Misery Index.” Most recently, Gatto toured for two years with his stand-up solo show “Joe Gatto’s Night of Comedy” in sold-out theaters across the US, Canada, and Australia. The show is suggested for audiences ages 16 and up and there is an optional VIP meet & greet option for $100, which includes a photo with Joe.
