The 5K will take place on a flat 1.5-mile closed loop course at the beautifully scenic Two Rivers State Park in Waterloo, just minutes west of Omaha. The course is USATF certified and official times will be kept. The race is presented by Run Nebraska and 402 XC & Track. This race is perfect for first-timers and those looking to stick to their New Year’s resolutions. Whether you’re running with a significant other, friends, family, or even solo — this is a great way to celebrate the spirit of the holiday and get outside. If you successfully complete all three events in the Winter Fitness Series, you’ll receive a unique medal to commemorate your achievement. Participants should bring mittens and warm, dry clothes to change into post-run. To enter the state park, you’ll need to purchase a 2025 Nebraska Game and Parks permit for your vehicle.

All guests will receive the first course, their choice of one main course and of course — dessert! Tickets will also include one glass of wine or sparkling cider. The Valentine’s Day Dinner is priced at $160 for a table for 2. Payment is due at the time of booking and reservations are non-refundable unless you select the flexible reservation option. The 2025 menu from Abraham Catering features mixed greens with grilled pears, fennel, dried cranberries, shaved parmesan, and walnuts finished with a balsamic vinaigrette for the initial course and a dessert course of a shared platter of elegant miniature sweets, as well as coffee and tea service. The main entree options feature brown sugar salmon, stuffed Cornish game hen, Thai vegetable curry, roast tenderloin of beef, and chateaubriand with shiitake mushrooms.

NAMI Nebraska Sweetheart Dance
